NSW + QLD FLOOD SUPPORT

Our thoughts have been with all those affected by the flood crisis in the Northern Rivers region and Southern Queensland this week.

Thanks to our friends at Life Without Andy, boxes of SIR. towels are on their way north amongst their donation drive.

The incredible team at Thread Together have been working to gather clothing and additional items for those who have lost everything. We are preparing boxes of clothing to be sent in support of their mission to keep people clothed in clean, dry clothes.

It’s incredible to see the power of people when we band together in support of communities in need. If you are in a position to help, here are a few ways you can support.

SUPPORT UKRAINE

We are heartbroken to see the situation in Ukraine unfold. SIR. has made a donation to UNHCR, The Red Cross and Voices for Children to help aid their efforts in providing emergency support to Ukrainian people.

It is overwhelming to understand or know where to begin in offering support from afar. We have compiled resources we have found helpful in supporting Ukraine, in the hope they may help you too.

UNHCR

Helping Ukrainians who have had to flee their homes find shelter and safety. $480 can offer a refugee family safe, weatherproof shelter when they arrive

Red Cross

On the ground providing first aid, supporting health facilities, providing families with food, shelter and hygiene items, delivering much-needed water, and repairing vital infrastructure

Voice for Children

Providing non-stop assistance to affected children and families from all over the country, providing emergency psychological assistance, and assisting in the evacuation process.

WFP

World Food Programme set to assist people affected by conflict in Ukraine

Care

Immediate aid and recovery, food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support, and cash assistance — prioritizing women and girls, families, and the elderly.
